From a young age, Jason has always loved books. It started with an Alfred Hitchcock anthology, given to him by his uncle, Eugene Izzi, the acclaimed crime writer, and continues today with Ray Bradbury, Robert Aickman, Stephen King, and Joe Hill.

During the pandemic, he decided he wanted his own work on the bookshelves and began writing.

Early anthology successes led him to create his own short story collections and expand into the world of novels.

When he’s not writing, you can find him biking the trails around his home, playing with his nephews, or on the deck, feeding the deer and enjoying nature. He is supported by his wife of 30 years, Julie. They live in the far south suburbs of Chicago.
